About the Role

This is a senior-level position that requires a high degree of expertise in portfolio strategy and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion, aligned with Scotiabank's overall business objectives.
  • Portfolio Management: Lead the management of Scotiabank's portfolio of products and services, ensuring that they are aligned with the bank's overall business strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, business leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact Scotiabank's business, and provide recommendations to senior executives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in a senior-level role, with a proven track record of success in portfolio strategy and management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or economics.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
