Food Service Manager

Islandsand Holdings Incorporated is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure their success.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:- Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality and service.
- Combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day, with occasional bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Attention to detail is essential to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of food service operations.
- Client focus: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Efficient interpersonal skills: Build strong relationships with staff, management, and customers to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Excellent oral communication: Clearly communicate with staff, management, and customers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
