Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PEI INC.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our food service operations.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize resources.
- Hire and manage food service staff to ensure that our team is well-equipped to provide excellent service.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Address customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Basic security clearance required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
