Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

Woodstock Grocers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, ensuring they meet sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage store inventory, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
  • Prepare sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide insights to improve sales performance.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Oversee payroll administration, including scheduling and timekeeping.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
