About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mine Maintenance Superintendent to join our team at Copper Mountain Mine in Princeton, BC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all truck shop crew maintenance activities to ensure site compliance with mining regulations and adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to achieve production targets and improve equipment availability and reliability.
  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with Mine Operations and other departments to identify and address potential work problems and health and safety issues.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of maintenance experience within the mining industry, with at least three (3) years in a Superintendent role.
  • Current BC Mine Supervisor Certificate and P. Eng designation or ability to register with EGBC as a Professional Engineer.
  • High level of proficiency with Computer Applications and previous management experience with proven leadership abilities.
  • Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver's license and access to personal transportation.
