Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage utilities equipment such as steam generation systems, HVAC, compressed air, water supply, natural gas, and refrigeration units.
- Work collaboratively with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to optimize processes.
- Establish and oversee critical procedures including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PDM), and Work Orders (WOs).
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving utility systems.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
- Foster a workplace culture that values engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Valid 2nd Class Power Engineering certification.
- Expertise in managing steam, ammonia, and refrigeration systems.
- Exceptional organizational abilities.
- Self-driven with the capacity to work independently.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Experience in food manufacturing or production is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with steam and refrigeration systems.
- Additional certifications such as Millwright and Plumbing are beneficial.
- Prior experience in food processing environments.
- Familiarity with computer operations, Microsoft Office, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Understanding of root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma.
- Proven initiative, leadership capabilities, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in project management.
