Position OverviewAs we expand, we are on the lookout for a seasoned Technical Lead to guide our team and products toward success. In this role, you will spearhead a group focused on developing a new platform that facilitates seamless connections for wellness services, assisting employees in navigating life's challenges and thriving both personally and professionally.
The perfect candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. This individual will be instrumental in mentoring our development team, architecting solutions, and ensuring successful delivery of these solutions. You will also be responsible for aligning product strategy with the platform's development. This role reports directly to the CTO.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of developers, offering mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality output and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and develop technical solutions, actively participating in customer interviews and feedback sessions.
- Architect and design scalable, reliable, and efficient software systems and platforms.
- Work with developers and the CTO to strategically select appropriate technologies, tools, and integrations.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, effectively communicating any changes or updates.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, readability, and performance of the code.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance our development processes and inform your technical strategy.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Promote robust security practices within the team.
- Drive innovation and contribute ideas to enhance our products and services.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, skill development, and innovation.
- 10+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with 3 years leading a team of 3-5 software developers in an agile environment.
- Extensive expertise in .NET/C# and other back-end technologies.
- Strong foundation in ReactJS and/or Angular front-end frameworks.
- Experience with relational database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and NoSQL databases (CosmosDB, DynamoDB, Redis), beyond basic migrations and CRUD operations.
- Experience in system design, architecture, data structures, algorithms, and API integration.
- Proven experience in architecting and designing complex software systems and cloud-based platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new developers.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a desire to coach and mentor team members, creating growth opportunities and delegating tasks to support career advancement.
- Ability and willingness to lead technical discussions while also contributing to hands-on development.
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to the digital transformation of complex software products, demonstrating an understanding of leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
- Experience in exploring and integrating AI to enhance developer productivity, streamline workflows, and seamlessly incorporate AI features or services within the product.
