About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects, liaising with clients, and conducting thorough site assessments to evaluate existing building structures and envelope systems. They will also develop rehabilitation plans, design and analyze building components, and produce comprehensive reports and studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Oversee projects from initial concept to final execution, ensuring seamless integration with clients and internal teams.
  • Site Assessments: Conduct thorough site assessments to evaluate existing building structures and envelope systems, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
  • Rehabilitation Planning: Develop rehabilitation plans for building envelopes and structures, proposing concepts to clients and ensuring alignment with building science principles and restoration standards.
  • Design and Analysis: Design and analyze building components and envelope systems for upgrades and enhancements, producing comprehensive reports and studies.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other engineering and architectural teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality results.
  • Contract Administration: Administer contracts and oversee construction, ensuring adherence to building science principles and restoration standards.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PEng) or Registered Architect (Architect AIBC)
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience within the building science discipline
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and train staff
