About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Attendant to join our team at Private Home. As a Home Support Attendant, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities and conversations to promote their well-being.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, ensuring they have access to essential items.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
Requirements
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and other relevant certifications.
  • Language: English.
  • Transportation: Own transportation or access to public transportation.
  • Work Conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
