Empower Simcoe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Support Worker Awake Nights to join our team. As a Specialized Resource Coordinator Awake Nights, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with complex care needs in community residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support for individuals in their homes and community, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
  • Assess individual needs and develop plans to enhance essential life skills, such as meal preparation, budgeting, communication, and self-care.
  • Collaborate with the Supervisor to ensure the completion of Ministerial Licensing and documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings to provide input and clarification on plans and protocols.
  • Administer medications and document dispensing in accordance with Agency policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Social Services or a closely related field.
  • Registered Behavioural Technician certificate an asset.
  • Minimum of one (1) year recent full-time work experience supporting hard-to-serve adults with complex care needs in community residential settings.
  • Experience supporting people with behaviour management techniques is an asset.
