Job Title: Full-Time Developmental Support Worker I

Empower Simcoe is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting, assisting with daily living activities, household duties, meal preparation, and finances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Assist with household duties, meal preparation, and finances
  • Support individuals to appointments and events to foster connections within the community
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the well-being and safety of individuals

Requirements:

  • Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of direct related experience in the Developmental Services sector
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Valid class "G" driver's license and own reliable transportation
