About the Role

The Saskatoon Tribal Council (STC) is seeking a Support Worker to provide a safe and supportive environment in a short-term residential setting for vulnerable populations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the general well-being of clients residing at the STC White Buffalo Youth Lodge (WBYL) Saweyihtotan Transitional House.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to clients in a culturally sensitive manner
  • Assist clients with daily living activities and provide emotional support
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community members
  • Collaborate with the Project Coordinator and other staff members to ensure a comprehensive support system
  • Follow STC policies and procedures, including the State of Emergency Manual and guidelines for the STC WBYL Transition House and Emergency Youth Shelter
Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate their ability to work with vulnerable populations and provide culturally sensitive support. A cover letter outlining how the applicant meets the eligibility requirements is required.
