Job Summary

We're seeking a talented Pharmacy Professional to join our team as a Customer Experience Specialist. This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and timely. The ideal candidate will ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs, counsel patients with documentation, and provide friendly, positive, and proactive interaction with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
  • Ensure medication and over-the-counter supplements inventory levels are adequate to meet patients' needs
  • Counsel patients in regards to new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive interaction
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patients' needs and doctors' requests/issues
  • Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
  • Provide ongoing training for all new and existing Pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy, and a Class A Pharmacist license are required
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism are essential
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills are required
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is required
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy Computer system, is a definite asset
