Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Mr. Halal Meat. The successful candidate will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat products for sale, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meat Products
    • Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to prepare for processing or cutting
    • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat
    • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
    • Price meat products and assist customers with purchases
  • Meat Handling and Storage
    • Handle and store meat products in a safe and sanitary manner
    • Ensure that meat products are properly labeled and dated
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
    • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Language
    • Fluency in English
  • Work Environment
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
