About the Role

Adecco Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Returns Associate to join our client's logistics team in a temporary full-time position. As a Returns Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing the return of goods from customers, ensuring that returned items are processed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Unload and load trucks and move freight using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments in the inventory management system.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
  • Receive and inspect returned products to determine their condition and reason for return.
  • Accurately log return details into the inventory management system.
  • Process returns according to company policies, including restocking, refurbishment, or disposal.
  • Accept and inspect returned merchandise from customers, ensuring items are returned in accordance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, especially Excel.
  • 3 plus years' working experience in 3PL or warehouse environment.
  • Degree in supply chain/logistics would be an asset.
  • Previous warehouse experience is required.
  • Previous returns experience is an asset.
  • Comfortable with WMS and TMS and other related software.
