Returns Associate Job Description

Adecco Canada is currently hiring a detail-oriented and reliable Returns Associate to join our client's logistics team. The Returns Associate will be responsible for managing the return of goods from customers, ensuring that returned items are processed efficiently and accurately. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory integrity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
  • Unload and load trucks and move freight using appropriate material handling equipment.
  • Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments in the inventory management system.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
  • Receive and inspect returned products to determine their condition and reason for return.
  • Accurately log return details into the inventory management system.
  • Process returns according to company policies, including restocking, refurbishment, or disposal.

Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, especially excel.
  • 3 plus years' working experience in 3pl or warehouse environment.
  • Degree in supply chain/ logistics would be an asset.
  • Previous warehouse experience is required.
  • Previous returns experience is an asset.
  • Comfortable with WMS and TMS and other related software.
