About the Role

The IKO Global IT department is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage multiple key initiatives within the Global IT group. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring solutions development and delivery excellence and an engaging customer experience while demonstrating IKO's Values of Sharing Knowledge, Integrity, Long-Term Thinking, Performance, Humility, and Agility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and control all project management activities, including scope management, requirements management, coordinating technical design and development teams, testing, communication management, issue/risk management, budget, and resource management.
  • Provide leadership in PM processes and best practices to IT team members.
  • Ensure information and operational issues concerning project status (schedules, deliverables, costs, risks, issues) pass to-and-from stakeholders, project team, and management.
  • Own complete project life cycle from definition to completion, including deploying sustainable support models.
  • Demonstrate an excellent ability to communicate, lead, and influence teams that do not directly report to PM.

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or Business Management or equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
  • 8-10+ years' experience in IT project management, PMP certified.
  • 3-5+ years' experience managing Salesforce projects.
  • Proficient in project management practices, a highly effective communicator, and experienced in dealing with managing multiple complex projects concurrently.
  • Industrial Manufacturing, Building Supply sector experience an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise applications, including ERP, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Salesforce Sales cloud/Service Cloud, Enterprise Content Management and Collaboration, Financial/Corporate Performance Management, BI & Analytics, B2B and B2C E-commerce, Web/Digital Marketing platforms, Portals, Social, and Mobile Applications.
  • Experienced with the use of PPM tools, such as Planview.
  • Experienced with managing deployments of externally procured solutions or development through the deployment of in-house built solutions.
  • Working project experience in global companies across various time zones.

Work Authorizations and Travel

  • Travel estimated at 10%, within North America and Europe.
