About the Opportunity

The Physiotherapist reports to the Manager of Rehabilitation Services. The Physiotherapist assesses, diagnoses and treats patients who present with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations or disabilities. The Physiotherapist may provide service in outpatient, inpatient and community settings. The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members and caregivers. The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervision of assistants. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required. The successful applicant may be required to provide services anywhere within the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, BCLS, and computer skills. The candidate should also have experience in physiotherapy, with additional courses/education/training in specialized areas or practice, such as cardio-respiratory techniques, acupuncture, stroke rehabilitation, manual therapy, and balance training. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset. Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.
