Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services

The Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Rehabilitation Services team. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist who possesses excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, and BCLS certification.
Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Provide education and communication to patients, families, and caregivers
- Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy from an accredited university
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- BCLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Computer skills, including statistics input and word processing
We offer a competitive salary range of $33.97 - $42.89 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, and a defined benefit pension plan. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
