Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide diagnostic, assessment, and therapeutic services to patients with cardiorespiratory disorders.

About the Role
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and assessments to identify respiratory disorders and develop effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide therapeutic services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy, to patients with respiratory conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Respiratory Therapy program from an accredited institution.
  • Certification by the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care.
  • Registration with the Nova Scotia College of Respiratory Therapists.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Respiratory Therapy.
  • Current certification in BCLS and ACLS.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
