About the Role

Pioneer Food Services Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that they receive exceptional service.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment is required.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a fast-paced food service environment, and requires the ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Capabilities: The ability to stand for extended periods is required.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
