Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory levels and controlling costs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing resources.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Prepare budgets and cost estimates, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, using data to drive business improvements.
  • Prepare and submit reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor at BAR BURRITO, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. You will be on your feet for extended periods, standing and walking throughout your shift.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
