The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing and implementing operational procedures to ensure that our food service department runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes developing and maintaining schedules, managing inventory, and coordinating with staff to ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
Supervise and Train StaffThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and training staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional customer service and prepare high-quality food. This includes providing ongoing training and coaching to staff, as well as conducting performance evaluations to ensure that staff are meeting expectations.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to prepare high-quality food. This includes ordering supplies, managing inventory levels, and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
Ensure Quality ControlThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all food and beverages meet our high standards of quality. This includes conducting regular quality control checks, investigating any complaints, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain Accurate RecordsThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key metrics. This includes preparing and submitting reports to management, as well as providing data and insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment
Skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
Security and SafetyThe Food Service Supervisor will be required to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a background check and provide proof of eligibility to work in Canada.
Work Conditions and Physical CapabilitiesThe Food Service Supervisor will be required to work in a standing position for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds. The successful candidate will be required to wear a uniform and maintain a clean and professional appearance.
