Position Overview

As a leader in the automotive parts supply industry, CB Canada excels in moulding, painting, assembling, and sequencing products for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).

JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly qualified maintenance technician who can deliver specialized mechanical breakdown assistance. Our operations involve injection moulding and compression presses, requiring top-notch repair skills for all machinery.

Key Responsibilities


• Mechanical Coordination of Tasks
- Organize and manage assigned work orders
- Collaborate with clients to find optimal solutions
- Direct workforce to ensure task completion
- Prepare reports and documentation

• Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Engage in continuous improvement discussions and technical evaluations
- Share knowledge and expertise to enhance others' projects
- Lead projects as necessary
- Facilitate and oversee capital initiatives

• Breakdown Analysis
- Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives
- Generate reports and documentation as needed
- Assign and track work orders related to breakdown analysis

• Machine Issues Management
- Maintain a document of open issues for all machinery
- Follow up on issues, set target dates, and ensure task completion
- Identify and implement root cause solutions for machine issues

Qualifications/Requirements

- Licensed millwright 443A is an asset
- Relevant hydraulics training or a mechanical engineering degree is required
- Strong hydraulic design and troubleshooting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid project management capabilities
- Basic computer proficiency – Microsoft Access, Word, Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional mechanical aptitude
- Proven leadership skills, capable of guiding and motivating team members
- Some electrical experience is beneficial
- Must prioritize safety and reliability
