Job Title: Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team at RELIABLE STAFFING. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Identify current and prospective staffing requirements, prepare and post notices and advertisements, collect and screen applicants.
  • Employee Relations: Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
  • Talent Management: Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions, co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
  • Employee Support: Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers, advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
  • HR Administration: Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes, co-ordinate termination of employment process, determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment:
