The OpportunityWe are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Dean, School of Life Science and Business. As a key member of our College Leadership Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing programs and staff in fields related to the School of Life Science & Business.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Administration
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the School, ensuring alignment with the College's Strategic Plan.
- Oversee the budget and budget processes, ensuring effective resource allocation and management.
- People Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of faculty and staff, providing direction, supervision, and performance management.
- Ensure the School operates with consistent Human Resource and Academic practices.
- Identify and lead opportunities for new and academic programming, driving innovation and growth.
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual with a strong background in academic leadership and administration. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven administrative and leadership experience, with a track record of success in growing strategic drivers.
- Superior relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
- Capacity to interpret data and financial information, with a high level of internal controls.
- A strong dedication to promoting inclusivity and diversity, with a proactive approach to equity and embracing differences.
