About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and physically fit Labourer to join our team at Artistic Landscaping Ltd. as a Farm Operations Labourer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to farm operations, including crop maintenance, harvesting, and equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crop Maintenance: Apply fertilizers, clean crops, and dose water saturation, light, and temperature as instructed for crop growth and development.
  • Harvesting: Harvest seedlings, divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots, and grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
  • Work Site Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with dusty conditions, all weather conditions, and physically demanding tasks.
  • Transportation: Own transportation is required for this role.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking are required.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
