SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER | CONTRACT

The Select Group is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a top banking client's Hadoop to Cloud migration project in Toronto. Key details are outlined below.

Project Overview:

This project involves managing the assessment of the existing Hadoop on-prem platform and developing recommendations and cost estimates to upgrade from HDP to CDP or migrate to AWS cloud. The successful candidate will support the execution of approved recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead complex, multi-year, multi-million dollar infrastructure projects with a strong track record in the banking industry.
  2. Manage Hadoop experience and expertise.
  3. Develop and implement AWS Cloud solutions.
  4. Drive Agile Delivery methodologies.
  5. Excellent communication, presentation, and change management skills.
  6. Approximately years of experience delivering technology projects.
  7. Prior experience with Hadoop to Cloud migration projects is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  1. PMP certification is a plus.
