Payroll Implementation Testing Supervisor

Position OverviewAs the Testing Lead for Payroll Implementation, you will play a crucial role in managing the testing phase of a new payroll system. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the project team to formulate and execute comprehensive testing strategies and protocols, ensuring the payroll system's accuracy and functionality.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and uphold testing strategies, plans, and procedures for the payroll system implementation.
- Work alongside the project team to define testing requirements and scope based on business and system specifications.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather necessary test data and resources for effective testing.
- Lead a team of testers, offering guidance and support throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Create and execute test cases to validate the payroll system's accuracy and functionality.
- Document and report any defects identified during testing, collaborating with the development team for timely resolutions.
- Monitor and track testing activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and addressing any issues that arise.
- Conduct post-implementation testing to confirm the successful deployment of the payroll system.
- Provide technical expertise and support to team members and end-users during system testing and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the payroll system with related systems and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a testing lead or in a similar capacity, particularly within the payroll sector.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and systems.
- Familiarity with various testing methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Able to work effectively in a team and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and compliance standards is advantageous.
