About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Shoppers Drug Mart / Pharmaprix. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in driving business results and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations:
    • Ensure store standards are consistently met, driving customer satisfaction and store profitability.
    • Collaborate with the management team to maintain a high-performing store environment.
    • Manage labor scheduling and optimize workforce productivity.
    • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Human Resources:
    • Comply with human resources standards and policies.
    • Support hiring and talent development initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate wage administration and adhere to company guidelines.
    • Lead and motivate staff through effective leadership and mentorship.
  • Qualifications:
    • Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to plan and prepare for inventory management.
    • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Business acumen and financial management skills.
  • Experience:
    • Previous retail management experience.
    • Proven ability to drive business results and lead by example.
    • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
    • Business and financial acumen.
