About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of eCommerce Logistics to join our team at Open Farm. As a key member of our Operations Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing logistics strategies that support our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) and Amazon sales channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive logistics strategy for both DTC and Amazon channels, aligned with the company's growth objectives.
  • Oversee the design and execution of logistics and supply chain processes to optimize inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution across both channels.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to deliver an enhanced customer experience or improve efficiencies, and work closely with the eCommerce team to bring the initiatives to life.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing logistics team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage day-to-day logistics operations for DTC and Amazon channels, including warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the eCommerce team to ensure seamless integration of logistics with overall business operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to drive data-informed decisions and process enhancements for both sales channels.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in eCommerce logistics, including direct-to-consumer and marketplace operations (Amazon experience is a plus), with a proven track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation (including last mile delivery), inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Previous roles should include managing logistics for fast-paced, high-volume operations.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams effectively, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff.
  • A strong appetite for using data to solve problems and identify opportunities.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing sustainable logistics practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
