Job Title: Food Service Counter Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Wendys Restaurant.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Counter Attendant will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Table Service: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Food Preparation: Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place dishes in storage areas.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers' orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Food Handling: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.
Requirements:
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Work Environment:

The Food Service Counter Attendant will work in a fast-paced environment with overtime required. The position requires standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
