Job Summary

B.N. Dulay's Trux Ltd. is seeking a skilled Material Handling Labourer to join our team. As a Material Handling Labourer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials within our warehouse and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Pallet Building: Build pallets to prepare for shipping and storage.
  • Product Wrapping: Wrap goods to protect them during transportation.
  • Sorting and Stacking: Sort, crate, and stack goods to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Securing Goods: Install, lash, and secure goods to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Cargo Storage: Store cargo and materials in a safe and organized manner.
  • Maintenance: Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
  • Truck Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
Work Environment

As a Material Handling Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse and transportation environment. You will be exposed to various weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, and will be required to work at heights.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: The ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and maintain a large workload.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
