Senior Structural Engineering Manager

About the Role: As a Senior Structural Engineering Manager, you will engage in innovative and intricate projects that you will have the opportunity to influence and contribute to.
Our Services: We offer a wide range of engineering services, from large-scale developments to smaller temporary structures, collaborating with developers, contractors, equipment suppliers, and property owners/operators.
Your Expertise: Drawing on your extensive experience (minimum 15 years), you will lead and shape projects across diverse sectors, including commercial, institutional, educational, and select industrial domains.
Team Leadership: In this position, you will play a crucial role in mentoring a team of structural engineers, guiding them through various projects while also nurturing client relationships.
Work Environment: Although the majority of your work will be conducted from our Vancouver office, you will have the flexibility to work in a hybrid mode.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee or directly contribute to the structural design of various building types, including commercial, institutional, educational, sports & recreation, healthcare, airports, transportation, and industrial.
- Collaborate with the project team from conceptual and preliminary design stages through to project completion.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance and control protocols.
- Engage directly with clients to comprehend project requirements and maintain robust business relationships.

Qualifications:
- StructEng designation with EGBC is an asset.
- 15+ years of directly related experience in structural engineering.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Compensation: The expected salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $160,000, depending on the richness and diversity of the candidate's experience, training, skills, and internal equity.
