Pharmacy Instructor Opportunity at Saskatchewan Polytechnic

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive educational programs, including lessons, assignments, lectures, and demonstrations, to support student learning and development
  • Supervise students in various educational settings, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
  • Evaluate student progress through regular assessments, exams, and observations, using data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations to provide students with valuable learning experiences and opportunities
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting, with a strong understanding of aseptic compounding practices
  • Demonstrated expertise in effective communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and needs
  • Commitment to valuing diversity in practice, with a focus on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
