Position Overview

The Food and Beverage Processing Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations within a fast-paced food production environment. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff effectively while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Educational Requirements
  • No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Train employees on their specific job functions, safety protocols, and company regulations.
  • Compile and prepare various production reports.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of team members, ensuring efficient workflow.
Supervisory Scope

Responsible for overseeing a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Certifications and Licenses
  • Possession of a Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Certificate is preferred.
Knowledge of Regulations
  • Familiarity with CIP (Cleaning In Place) and SIP (Sanitizing in Place) systems.
  • Understanding of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance for machinery and equipment.
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is required.
Work Environment
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
