Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Machinery: Set up, operate, and tend machinery used for mixing, calendering, extruding, moulding, and curing rubber materials or rubber products.
  • Product Inspection: Check and monitor product quality, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train or assist in the training of other workers to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
  • Material Preparation: Lay out and prepare rubber materials for assembly, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and handled.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished rubber products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards.
  • Product Packaging: Affix seal or tags to approved products, ensuring that all products are properly packaged and ready for shipment.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Make minor adjustments or repairs to products, and adjust machinery and equipment to proper settings.
  • Defective Product Handling: Mark and re-route defective products for repair or recycle, ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Material Loading: Load or feed rubber, pigments, filler, oil, and chemicals into machines, ensuring that all materials are properly stored and handled.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Certifications: Forklift Operator Certification.
Work Environment

Our production facility is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads. You must be able to distinguish between colors and work in a physically demanding environment.
