Personal Support Worker Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Female Personal Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to clients in the North Bay area. This is a part-time subcontracting position that requires flexibility and a willingness to work various shifts, including short and full shifts on days and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional care and support to clients in their homes and communities
  • Offer cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support to enhance clients' overall well-being
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to commute to client locations
  • Current vulnerable sector screening or willingness to obtain
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Liability insurance or willingness to obtain
  • Experience working with seniors, particularly those with Alzheimer's and dementia
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, dependable, and self-motivated individual
