BASF Canada Inc. is seeking an Agricultural Solutions Sales Representative to become a vital part of our Agricultural Solutions team in Regina, SK.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the primary responsibility of the Agricultural Solutions Sales Representative is to drive significant sales growth of BASF's innovative products to designated growers. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing, nurturing, and sustaining business relationships with key growers, collaborating effectively with retail partners, and managing channel relationships. Additionally, the Agricultural Solutions Sales Representative will actively seek new business opportunities to broaden their customer base. The ideal candidate will possess a strong market and customer orientation, with the ability to translate insights into actionable business strategies for growth.

- Gaining a thorough understanding of products, applications, and regional needs related to BASF's Agricultural product offerings.
- Proactively pursuing new business opportunities within the Agricultural sector.
- Identifying, negotiating, and finalizing new opportunities for our product range.
- Enhancing market intelligence by providing insights regarding industries, competitors, and customers to BASF's Marketing team.

- A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Business, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with a degree or 4 years of experience with a diploma, preferably in sales or a technical role within the agricultural sector.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a passion for positively impacting the agriculture industry; ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, including success with large-scale growers.
- Technical proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- A commitment to achieving objectives through effective time and resource management.
- Willingness to travel overnight on a weekly basis.
