About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Go Logistics Inc. as a Human Resources Administrator. This is a permanent position that requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Seminars and Conferences: Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, and other events to support the organization's goals.
  • Staff Consultation and Grievance Procedures: Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
  • HR Department Coordination: Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Information Flow: Coordinate the flow of information within the team to ensure effective communication.
  • Daily Operations: Direct and control daily operations, including planning and organizing daily tasks.
  • Staff Management: Direct staff, evaluate daily operations, and motivate staff to achieve their best performance.
  • Mail and Materials: Open and distribute mail and other materials, and plan and organize daily operations.
  • HR Projects: Review HR projects to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and train staff on new policies and procedures.
  • Policies and Procedures: Establish and implement policies and procedures, and train other workers on new processes.
  • Meetings and Minutes: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Recruitment Strategies: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Appointments and Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, and manage contracts.
  • Training and Development: Manage training and development strategies, and oversee the analysis of employee data and information.
  • Communication Strategies: Oversee the development of communication strategies, and compile data, statistics, and other information.
  • Reports and Advising: Oversee the preparation of reports, and advise senior management on HR-related matters.
  • Employee Questions and Complaints: Respond to employee questions and complaints, and order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Liaison and Negotiation: Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants, and negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employers or workers.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, and arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service, and work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field.
  • Digital Database: Maintain and manage digital databases, and perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff, and plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
