Job Description

Chrysta ABA Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring they receive a tailored learning experience.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with students, parents, and other staff members to ensure seamless communication and effective collaboration.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, managing student behavior and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and valid teaching certification with special education endorsements.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated competency in the subject area, knowledge of special needs, and experience with IEP development and implementation.
Working Conditions
