Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Chrysta ABA Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instructional Strategies: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Classroom Management: Create a safe and organized learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and valid teaching certification with special education endorsements.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated competency in special education, knowledge of IEP goal setting, and ability to work with diverse learning styles.
Working Conditions:

As a Special Education Teacher at Chrysta ABA Academy, you will be working in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will be required to maintain emotional control under stress, frequently stand, stoop, bend, kneel, push, and pull, and may be required to lift and position students with physical disabilities.
