Key Responsibilities- Provide expert perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Rotate through various surgical specialties, including on-call duties, to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility.
- Meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for extended periods and lifting patients as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to foster a culture of respect and compassion.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines to provide evidence-based care.
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and good standing.
- Current BCLS Certification.
- Successful completion of post-graduate OR course.
- Perioperative Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Recent OR experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Previous leadership experience and a strong track record of teamwork and collaboration.
