Role Overview: We are in search of enthusiastic and innovative individuals to join our mission. This role focuses on the comprehensive mechanical engineering aspects of both industrial and municipal water and wastewater systems, including biological sludge incineration and digestion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a vital technical team member throughout project execution.
  • Lead the creation of all mechanical documentation and oversee the specification and selection of both dynamic and static mechanical equipment.
  • Under the guidance of a senior engineer, conduct mechanical design for water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring adherence to design quality while aligning with project timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Perform necessary calculations for equipment sizing, generate technical specifications, and evaluate bids for the procurement of various mechanical equipment, including pumps, blowers, compressors, chemical feed systems, vessels, tanks, filters, piping systems, and valves.
  • Collaborate with the mechanical design team to produce general arrangement drawings in accordance with project requirements.
  • Generate and distribute all mechanical drawings needed for the project, including foundation loading tables.
  • Engineer systems that comply with engineering principles, customer standards, contractual obligations, and relevant local codes.
  • Ensure all engineering designs, bills of materials, and technical data are thoroughly documented by reviewing associated engineering drawings and related documents.
  • Coordinate activities related to process and mechanical design reviews, as well as resolving project-related scheduling and technical issues.
  • Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) standards for project execution and documentation.
  • Engage with project managers, lead engineers, and clients to address project-related challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a foundational understanding of water chemistry.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to contribute positively to team and departmental initiatives.
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication abilities.
