As a CAD Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our new vehicle launch by utilizing advanced CAD software and collaborating with engineering professionals and manufacturing experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CAD Design and Development: Utilize advanced CAD software (e.g., Autodesk AutoCAD 2024) for detailed construction and station layouts, converting field sketches and record drawings into accurate 2-D CAD drawings.
  2. Project Coordination: Conduct field checks and update cycle line layouts as needed, supporting cycle line layout meetings to review and finalize station layouts, aligning with the project vision.
  3. Documentation and Communication: Develop drawings for bid packages and support plant skilled trades, overseeing and coordinating project commissioning activities.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of experience as a CAD/Project Engineer in manufacturing.
  3. Skills: Proven ability to optimize layouts for safety, quality, and efficiency.
