We provide a variety of support services to assist adults (18+) who have various developmental exceptions; duel-diagnosis and mental health exceptionalities.

**Key** **Job Expectations**:

- Ensuring communication between the family and LSS
- Overseeing Medication Administration sheets and ensuring they remain accurate & up to date
- Ensuring all Med Errors & Incident Reports are reported to management
- Keeping all paperwork in the home relevant and up to date.
- Revising Documents as needed
- Ensuring positive communication between families, staff and Management
- Demonstrating Positive leadership within the home
- Ensuring residents of the home are active in the community
- Upholding & ensuring the safety of residents
- Ensuring the routine of the home is continuously followed
- Reporting all care/concerns to Management
- Attending Management meetings monthly
- Upholding all Health and Safety expectations
- Reporting any staffing issues to Management

**Requirements**:

- Must have a clear Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check to **start**:

- Standard First Aid and CPR certificate within 90 days of start date.
- A valid 'G' driver’s license and reliable transportation is **mandatory**:

- Must present Driver's Abstract
- Will need to obtain 6A 'able to carry passengers' insurance policy **before start of first shift **_(any increase to insurance policy is reimbursed after probation period)_
- Must be able to travel locally and comfortably with passengers. _(mileage reimbursement:.55 cents/KM)_
- Must be able to collaborate and work harmoniously with caregivers, under the direction of Management, when needed
- Must be comfortable with working 1:2 & 1:1 supports, under the guidance of the LSS Support Plan
- Must have excellent Interpersonal skills and communication skills
- **Medication administration skills are a must**:

- **Understanding the Rights of Medication is considered an asset**:

- **Must be able to participate in all 1:1 daily activities**:

- **Must be able to drive clients to weekly program(s), activities and scheduled events**:

- **Must be comfortable working independently with 1-2 individuals**:

- **Must be comfortable working in a residential home**:

- Experience with ASD is considered an asset
- Participate and collaborate with other health care providers in the provision of client care.
- Ability to carry out all work assignments safely and be knowledgeable of and in compliance with LSS inc.
- Abide by LSS’s Support Plan and structures in place
- Complete all daily paperwork such as; client support notes, incident reports (when required), Injury Reports (when required) and any other necessary communication notes.
- Must be able to abide by TimeKeeping Policies
- Must complete yearly OSHA requirements and WHIMIS Certifications; all LSS inc regulations, policies and procedures and remain in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act and Human Services and its regulations, as well as other legislation as applicable.
- Must complete all necessary training and e-learning modules within 90 days of start date

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**

1. Must comply with Leslie’s Support Solutions and Human Resource Policies and Procedures
2. Must Obtain satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
3. Must provide and maintain valid Must Driver's Licence and proof of '6A' Insurance Policy
4. Must provide and maintain a valid First and and CPR certification
5. Must complete all Necessary training (including; WHIMIS and OSHA e-learning courses)
6. Must be available to work all the required shifts
**7. Must provide all documentation within required 2 weeks of hire date**
