Role Overview:
The Infrastructure Engineering team at EvenUp is on the lookout for a skilled Engineer to spearhead the development and enhancement of our systems and workflows. This position is crucial in delivering significant value to our clients and ensuring that personal injury victims obtain the compensation they are entitled to. We seek an individual who is enthusiastic about understanding user requirements and translating them into engaging user interfaces for AI-generated document creation. In this role, you will contribute to innovative solutions that have a profound impact on our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus 75% on system design and infrastructure contributions, initiating solutions within a two-week timeframe.
  • Dedicate 25% to stakeholder collaboration, mentoring, and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Embrace a self-starter approach by taking product concepts and developing features from inception to completion.
  • Work alongside the team to scale our technology stack in response to our rapidly expanding user base.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within cloud-native environments.
  • A passion for promoting fairness and justice, as our compensation model is tied to assisting injured victims and their legal representatives.
  • Familiarity with essential technology stacks, including AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Cloud Security, Monitoring, Logging, and MLOps (at least 5 required).
  • A strong understanding of the importance of high-quality, code-based infrastructure that is simple, comprehensible, and reusable.
  • A knack for navigating technical challenges and delivering solutions that align with project estimates.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • A quick learner who seeks opportunities for cross-functional collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Enjoyment in working within cross-functional teams to identify requirements and develop tailored solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with monitoring tools and frameworks such as Prometheus, Grafana, or TensorBoard.
  • Understanding and practical experience with data tools, business intelligence tools, and systems like wandb, DBT, BigQuery, and Elasticsearch.
