Northwood is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long term care team in Bedford. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, including resident checks and rounds, medication administration, and resident personal care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct resident checks and rounds, including vital signs, breathing, and safety rounds
  • Administer medications, including processing doctor's orders
  • Provide resident personal care, including feeding, assistance with bowel care, dressing, and wound care
  • Support residents, families, and staff, including addressing questions and concerns
  • Perform general duties and administration, including mail, paperwork, and ordering supplies

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses with pharmacological training
  • Licensed Practical Nurse registered in the Province of Nova Scotia
  • Current basic CPR certification
  • Recent clinical experience, including medication administration and leadership duties
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis

Hours/Shifts: Full-time and Part-time (Various shifts)
