Job Title: Finisher, Concrete

We are seeking a skilled Finisher, Concrete to join our team at GOLDMINES CONSTRUCTION INC.

Job Summary:

The Finisher, Concrete will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces. This includes checking formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, as well as directing the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
  • Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Requirements:
  • Will train.
