Job Title: Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at NPM Construction Inc. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on concrete surfaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures as required.
  • Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.

  • Physically demanding work environment with heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
